The destination of 5th oversea traveling was Greece. My purpose was to see "Blue sea & sky and White houses". I brought about the purpose in Mykonos, in addition, I could see beautiful views everywhere and communicate with friendly people. By the way, I took a new degital camera, FUJIFILM FinePix 4700z. So I could take more beautiful pictures than previous traveling. Now I'll show you them. |

This is my companion, Satoshi Maeda. We took British Airways Flight No.008 bound for London at New Tokyo International Airport (Narita Airport). |

We transfered to Flight No.634 bound for Athens at London Heathrow Airport. We waited for 6 hours ! |

We got to Ellinikon International Airport (Athens Airport) at 5 am. After that, we went to the city center of Athens by bus and checked in at Olympic Palace Hotel, which we had booked in Japan. |

First, we went to Syntagma Square. It was the center of Athens. Of course, you know that Athens is the capital of Greece. |

We found McDonalds and had breakfast. McDonalds are everywhere ! After McDonalds, we went to the Acropolis. |

This is the Propylaia, which was the original imposing gateway. |

This is the Parthenon. I was really impressed on its beauty. |

The view from the Acropolis was also very nice. The hill in the picture is Lykabettos Hill. We climbed up it a week later. |

In the morning, we went to National Archaeological Museum. We saw a lot of magnificent treasures. |

In the afternoon, we took a bus for Cape Sounion. Some guidebooks says that sunset at Cape Sounion is the most beautiful in the world, so we decided to visit there. And this was the first time to see Aegean Sea. |

After we got to the cape, we waited for the sun set at cafe. By the way, I gave my sunglasses to Satoshi because it fitted him very well ! |

There were clouds around the horizon, so we could not see the sun sinks below the horizon. But it was beautiful enough. |

We went to Delphi by bus. It took about 3 hours. |

The town of Delphi is pretty. If we had enough time, we would stay at the town. |

After we got to the ancient relics, first, we went to the Stadium. It is preserved well. |

Next, we went to the Theatre and the Temple of Apollo. The ancient Greeks believed Delphi to be the centre of the world. |

Delphi is also famous for its nice view. |
